Anton Rabie co-founded Spin Master in 1994 with two friends and an idea. Thirty years later, it’s a $2B global leader in children’s entertainment, home to PAW Patrol, Rubik’s Cube, Toca Boca, Hatchimals, Bakugan, GUND, and Melissa & Doug.

Anton Rabie is Co-Founder and Chair of Spin Master, the global toy and entertainment company behind iconic brands including PAW Patrol, Bakugan, Hatchimals, and Toca Boca. After graduating from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, Anton co-founded Spin Master with friends Ronnen Harary and Ben Varadi. He went on to serve as Co-CEO for 29 years, helping build the company into a global leader in children's entertainment with a legacy of innovation, creativity, and award-winning play experiences.
Anton’s fearless entrepreneurial mindset was instrumental in Spin Master’s growth, shaping a culture defined by bold ideas, calculated risk-taking, and learning through failure. During his tenure, he helped scale the business into a $2B global company and take it worldwide by establishing international offices in more than 28 countries. He also led more than 30 acquisitions, including Tech Deck, Cardinal, Meccano, GUND, Rubik’s Cube, and most recently Melissa & Doug, strengthening the company’s portfolio of iconic global brands.
Over the course of his career, Anton has received numerous accolades, most recently receiving the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Ontario 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award. Anton, alongside his two partners, was inducted into the Canadian Toy Hall of Fame in 2022, as well as the Toy Association Hall of Fame in 2023.
Outside of work, Anton enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and living a healthy lifestyle. He has become a student of wellness and has dedicated much of his time to exploring and studying the connection between mind and body to improve overall well-being and performance.
Described as an “energy force,” Anton has a true passion for helping others unlock their full potential and achieve greatness. His debut book, Different: An Unconventional Guide to Becoming Your Best Self, is set to release February 16, 2027 and explores what his journey taught him about risk, identity, failure, and the unconventional thinking that made it all possible.
